　 Bone marrow aspirate from the young, manifesting fever, cervical lymphadenopathy, pancytopenia and atypical lymphocytosis (5%). 　
　 　 　 　

　

 　 Leukophagocytosis by macrophages is evident (HE). Supression of normal hematopoetic cells is associated. Elevation of IgG-type antibody to EBV is compatible with EB-VAHS.
